The CPD Folder
A
Continuing Professional Development Folder (CPD) is sent to each
certificant after Certification and a new folder is sent upon
re certification.
Each
folder is to be maintained for the four-year
Certification period. It is the certificant's responsibility
to keep an accurate record of CPD activities.
The CPD
folder should
be used for recording activities and maintaining a file of the
documentation which is required. Folders should be retained by
the certificant and sent to the AIC Constructor Certification
Commission only upon notification of selection for an audit.
The
Commission cannot process individual pieces of documentation.
Separate pieces of documentation received by the Commission will
be returned to the certificant for inclusion in the documentation
folder.
To
maintain Certification, the certificant must document at least
10 credits of Continuing Professional Development activities
in each four-year certification period in addition to payment
of Annual Fee and adherence to the Constructor Code of Conduct.
Each
activity must be recorded in the folder. Documentation verifying
participation in the activities must be kept in this file.
